About Us
Sly Process Systems, LLC was founded in 2009 as a division of Sly Incorporated, a privately held company founded in 1874. Sly Incorporated is headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio and has nearly 100 employees throughout the United States with a licensee in Europe. Sly Process Systems and Sly Incorporated share a recently expanded and modernized 70,000 plus square foot manufacturing facility located in Mathiston, Mississippi. Sly Process Systems maintains sales and engineering offices located in Tennessee, Texas, and Georgia.
Sly Process Systems is staffed by a seasoned group of key material handling professionals — each having well over 20 years of experience in the design, application, sale, and manufacture of bulk material handling and processing systems and equipment. Utilizing our collective experience, we have taken a “clean sheet” approach to developing our new product lines. We have incorporated features that have been proven by the test of time, yet are “state-of-the-art” with respect to the newest available technology. This means that our customers can rest assured that they will not be buying someone’s yet unproven “idea”, however will still enjoy the benefits of the latest available technology in each piece of Sly Process Systems equipment that they purchase. The commitment and stability of a nearly 140 year old parent company assures that we will be around for the “long haul”, providing service, upgrades, and new equipment long after many competitors have come and gone.
Enjoying a diverse background with respect to bulk material handling and processing, we possess equipment design and applications experience that permits us to offer an exceptionally broad product offering geared toward serving a wide range of industrial applications. Some examples of our products that are applicable to most powder, pellet, and granule handling applications include Bulk Storage Equipment (including silos and bins), Pneumatic Conveying Systems (including rail unloading, in-plant conveying and truck or railcar filling), Gravimetric & Volumetric Blending and Metering Equipment, and Bag/Box/Drum Unloading and Filling Systems.
Our Plastics Auxiliary Machinery focused product lines include Plastics Resin Dryers (both dehumidifying and hot air), PET/PLA Crystallizers, self-contained and/or central Machine Loading Systems, and Volumetric or Gravimetric Blenders.
Supported by Sly Incorporated’s 100+ year air pollution control background (including the world’s first fabric filter dust collector patent) Sly Process Systems is able to incorporate the very latest in dust control technology (bag and pleated bag filters, cartridge collectors, and even wet scrubbers) into all of our products and systems. In addition to our full bulk material handling and dust control systems capabilities, we can also offer Turnkey Project Services including Mechanical and Electrical Installation, Project Management, and Startup Service. Additionally we offer a complete line of Aftermarket Parts and Components to assist you with maintaining or expanding your existing equipment and systems.
